React Native Mobile App flyer: One codebase. Both app stores.

About this gig

If your business already runs on a website or web app, your mobile app should use the same backend and the same accounts.

I build iOS and Android apps from one React Native codebase, connected to your existing API, database and logins, so data stays in one place. Push notifications bring customers back, payments work in the app, and I handle App Store and Google Play submission under your developer accounts.

What you get:

  • Screen designs for your app's main flows
  • One React Native (Expo) codebase for iOS and Android
  • Connection to your existing backend and auth
  • Push notifications, payments, camera and location as needed
  • Testing on physical devices
  • App Store and Google Play publishing

I've built with React and React Native since my first Android app in 2020, spent two and a half years on the Kite Financial wallet team, and build the backends my apps talk to, including WeSelling's.

Tell me what the app should do, and whether you already have a backend or website.

Use cases

Customer app

Ordering, bookings and loyalty for an existing business.

Field staff app

Forms, photos, GPS and offline sync.

Marketplace

Buyers, sellers, chat and payments.

Delivery and logistics

Rider app with live tracking.

School and church apps

Updates, giving, results and events.

Wallet and fintech

Balances, transfers and secure login.

Companion app

A mobile front end for your web platform.

Internal tools

Approvals and dashboards on the go.

What changes

Today

  • Two separate native apps cost twice as much to build and maintain
  • Your web platform has no app, and customers keep asking for one
  • Push notifications would bring customers back, and you can't send any
  • App store submission feels like a maze

After

  • One React Native codebase for iOS and Android
  • Connected to your existing backend and user accounts
  • Push notifications, payments, camera and location where you need them
  • Published to the App Store and Google Play under your accounts

How it works

  1. 01Design the screens
  2. 02Build in React Native
  3. 03Connect your backend
  4. 04Test on devices
  5. 05Publish to the stores

Questions, answered

Expo or bare React Native?

Expo for most apps: faster builds and over-the-air updates. Bare React Native when you need native modules Expo doesn't cover.

Do I need developer accounts?

Yes: an Apple Developer account ($99 a year) and a Google Play developer account ($25 once), in your business's name. I help you set them up.

Who owns the code and accounts when we finish?

You do. Code goes to your repository, and services run on accounts in your name, so you are never locked to me. I hand over logins, keys and a short guide.

Where are you based, and when can we talk?

Kaduna, Nigeria (West Africa Time, UTC+1). I work with clients in the U.S., Europe, the Caribbean and Africa, reply within 24 hours and keep a weekly call in your time zone.

What if my project doesn't fit a package?

Send a message describing what you need. I reply with a custom offer priced to the actual scope, often after a short call.
