DAO & On-Chain Governance flyer: Decisions your community can check.

About this gig

If your group's decisions live in a chat and its money lives in one person's wallet, trust depends on that person. A DAO puts both in the open.

I build DAOs that match how your group decides. Proposals, voting and treasury spending run through contracts, with a timelock before anything executes and a guardian who can stop a malicious proposal. Voting can be token-weighted, one member one vote, delegated, or private with zero-knowledge membership proofs.

What you get:

  • A treasury on Safe, or a governor-controlled treasury
  • Snapshot for off-chain votes, or OpenZeppelin Governor on-chain
  • Governance tokens or membership NFTs
  • Timelocks, spending limits and a guardian role
  • Custom rules, such as rotating savings-group payouts
  • A member app to propose, vote and follow the treasury

I contribute to MusicStrk, a self-custodial record label factory on Starknet, and I've worked with Big Inc on a community-owned label model.

Tell me who your members are, how decisions get made today and what the treasury holds.

Use cases

Savings group (ajo, esusu)

Contributions, payout order and missed-payment rules written into a contract the whole group can check.

Community treasury

Grants and spending approved by vote, executed after a timelock, never from one person's wallet.

Label or collective

Artists vote on releases and budgets, with royalties flowing to the treasury.

Private ballots

Members vote with a zero-knowledge proof of membership, so votes can't be bought or punished.

What changes

Today

  • Decisions happen in a group chat and nobody can show who agreed
  • One person holds the treasury keys
  • Voting by token balance lets the largest holders decide everything
  • Off-the-shelf DAO tools don't fit how your group decides

After

  • Proposals, voting and execution on-chain, with a timelock before funds move
  • A treasury in a multisig or governor contract instead of one person's wallet
  • Voting rules that fit: token-weighted, one member one vote, delegated or private
  • A simple app where members propose, vote and see the treasury

How it works

  1. 01Member proposes
  2. 02Discussion period
  3. 03Voting opens
  4. 04Timelock delay
  5. 05Proposal executes

Who it's for

  • Communities and collectives
  • Protocols handing over control
  • Cooperatives and savings groups
  • Artists and labels
  • Investment clubs

What I'll need from you

  • Who the members are and how they join or leave
  • How decisions are made today
  • What the treasury holds, and on which chain
  • Any rules unique to your group

Questions, answered

Do we need a token?

No. One member, one vote works with membership NFTs or an allow-list, which suits cooperatives, clubs and savings groups.

What stops a bad proposal from draining the treasury?

A timelock delays execution so members can react, a guardian can cancel during that window, and spending limits cap what one proposal can move. We set these together before launch.

Is a DAO a legal entity?

Not by itself. Many groups pair the DAO with a legal wrapper such as a foundation, an LLC or a cooperative. Your lawyer decides which.

Who owns the code and accounts when we finish?

You do. Code goes to your repository, and services run on accounts in your name, so you are never locked to me. I hand over logins, keys and a short guide.

What if my project doesn't fit a package?

Send a message describing what you need. I reply with a custom offer priced to the actual scope, often after a short call.
