Why not use Calendly or Booksy?

They're fine to start. A custom system pays off when you want your own brand, deposits through local gateways, your client list kept to yourself, or product sales and memberships alongside bookings.

Can clients buy products too?

Yes. Hair By Joan's site combines a priced style menu with a shop for wigs and hair, so a client can book and buy in one visit.

Does it sync with Google Calendar?

Yes, two-way per staff member, so personal events block booking slots automatically.

Are third-party costs included?

No. Usage fees for services like OpenAI, Twilio, WhatsApp or hosting are billed to your account at their own rates. I estimate them before we start and design to keep them low.

Who owns the code and accounts when we finish?

You do. Code goes to your repository, and services run on accounts in your name, so you are never locked to me. I hand over logins, keys and a short guide.
