Custom MCP Server flyer: Give your AI the keys, safely.

About this gig

AI assistants are only as useful as the data they can reach. An MCP server gives them that reach without handing over the keys to everything.

I build Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers that expose your database, CRM, help desk or internal API as a set of clear tools, such as "search customers", "get invoice" or "open ticket". Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and your own agents can then use those tools, with the permissions you set and a log of every call.

What you get:

  • Tool design based on the questions and actions your team needs
  • A TypeScript or Python MCP server, local or remotely hosted
  • Read-only access by default, with confirmation for write actions
  • Authentication with API keys or OAuth 2.1
  • Audit logs and rate limits
  • Setup guides for Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT and Cursor

I build with Claude Code every day and design APIs for my own multi-tenant platform, WeSelling, where permissions per business are the whole game.

Message me the system you want AI to reach and what it should be allowed to do.

Use cases

CRM in Claude

Ask Claude for a customer's history, deal stage or next step straight from your CRM.

Database analyst

Plain-language questions answered by read-only SQL against your database.

Support copilot

Look up tickets, orders and refunds, and draft replies with the facts attached.

Internal docs

Search Confluence, Notion or Google Drive from any AI client.

DevOps assistant

Check deployments, logs and incidents, with write actions behind confirmation.

E-commerce ops

Query stock, orders and customers in Shopify or your own store.

Finance views

Pull invoices, payments and balances from QuickBooks, Xero or Stripe.

Custom agents

Give your own LangGraph, CrewAI or Claude Agent SDK agents the same tools.

What changes

Today

  • Your team pastes data from internal tools into ChatGPT by hand
  • AI assistants can't see your CRM, database or tickets
  • Giving an agent full database access feels reckless
  • Every AI tool needs its own one-off integration

After

  • Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor call your tools directly
  • Each tool is scoped, logged and limited to what you allow
  • Read-only by default, with confirmation for anything that writes
  • One server reused by every MCP-compatible client

How it works

  1. 01AI client asks
  2. 02Server checks permissions
  3. 03Calls your API or database
  4. 04Returns scoped results
  5. 05Logs the call

Built before

Who it's for

  • SaaS companies
  • Agencies with internal tools
  • Data and operations teams
  • Founders using Claude Code

What I'll need from you

  • The system to connect (database, CRM, internal API) and access to a test copy
  • The questions or actions you want AI to handle
  • Who should have access, and which actions need confirmation
  • Where it should run: your laptop, your server or the cloud

Questions, answered

What is an MCP server?

Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI assistants call outside tools. An MCP server describes your tools, such as search customers or fetch an invoice, so any compatible assistant can use them with the permissions you set.

Which AI apps can use it?

Claude Desktop and Claude Code, ChatGPT through connectors, Cursor, VS Code and agent frameworks that support MCP.

Is it safe to let AI touch my data?

Tools are read-only unless you approve write access, every call is logged, and credentials stay on the server instead of in the prompt.

Who owns the code and accounts when we finish?

You do. Code goes to your repository, and services run on accounts in your name, so you are never locked to me. I hand over logins, keys and a short guide.

What if my project doesn't fit a package?

Send a message describing what you need. I reply with a custom offer priced to the actual scope, often after a short call.
